This documentary film follows the senior staff command during the August 2005 Disengagement from Gaza (the unilateral dismantling of 21 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip, including the evacuation of the Israeli settlers and the army from there). The film presents the audience the military, ideological and mental procedures that preceded the Disengagement, and the high emotions of people from all sides of the historic event. The film gives a behind-the-scenes look at the top command, the decision-making of the highest ranked officers, sensitive phone calls, crucial meetings, and even the much-needed humor in that nerve-racking time.
